Quälende Reue
„Ich will euch den Grundsatz lehren, der zu quälender Reue führt, und den Grundsatz, der nicht zu quälender Reue führt. Hört zu … Und was ist der Grundsatz, der zu quälender Reue führt? Lebende Geschöpfe töten … falsche Ansicht. Das nennt man den Grundsatz, der zu quälender Reue führt.
Und was ist der Grundsatz, der nicht zu quälender Reue führt? Keine lebenden Geschöpfe töten … rechte Ansicht. Das nennt man den Grundsatz, der nicht zu quälender Reue führt.“
Mortifying
“I will teach you the mortifying principle and the unmortifying. … And what is the mortifying principle? Killing living creatures … wrong view. This is called the mortifying principle.
And what is the unmortifying principle? Not killing living creatures … right view. This is called the unmortifying principle.”
