„Ich will euch den edlen Pfad und den unedlen Pfad lehren. Hört zu … Und was ist der unedle Pfad? Lebende Geschöpfe töten … falsche Ansicht. Das nennt man den unedlen Pfad.
Und was ist der edle Pfad? Keine lebenden Geschöpfe töten … rechte Ansicht. Das nennt man den edlen Pfad.“

“I will teach you the noble path and the ignoble path. … And what is the ignoble path? Killing living creatures … wrong view. This is called the ignoble path.
And what is the noble path? Not killing living creatures … right view. This is called the noble path.”
