Ausdrücke für den Klargewordenen
„‚Asket‘ ist ein Ausdruck für den Klargewordenen, den Vollendeten, den vollkommen erwachten Buddha. ‚Brahmane‘, ‚Wissensmeister‘, ‚Heiler‘, ‚Makelloser‘, ‚Unbefleckter‘, ‚Kenner‘ und ‚Befreiter‘ sind Ausdrücke für den Klargewordenen, den Vollendeten, den vollkommen erwachten Buddha.
Das Höchste soll von einem Asketen erlangt werden, von einem Brahmanen, der das Leben gelebt hat; von einem Wissensmeister soll es erlangt werden, von einem Heiler.
Das Höchste soll von einem Makellosen erlangt werden, von einem Unbefleckten, Reinen; von einem Kenner soll es erlangt werden, von einem, der frei ist.
Ich bin siegreich in der Schlacht! Erlöst, erlöse ich andere von ihren Ketten. Ein Drache bin ich, vollständig gezähmt, der Schulung entwachsen, vollkommen verloschen.“
Terms for the Realized One
“‘Ascetic’ is a term for the Realized One, the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha. ‘Brahmin’, ‘Knowledge Master’, ‘Healer’, ‘Unstained’, ‘Immaculate’, ‘Knower’, and ‘Freed’ are terms for the Realized One, the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha.
The supreme should be attained by an ascetic, a brahmin who has lived the life; it should be attained by a knowledge master, a healer.
The supreme should be attained by the unstained, stainless and pure; it should be attained by a knower, who is free.
I am victorious in battle! Released, I release others from their chains. I am a dragon completely tamed, an adept, I am quenched.”

“‘Samaṇo’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Brāhmaṇo’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Vedagū’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Bhisakko’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Nimmalo’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Vimalo’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Ñāṇī’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassa. ‘Vimutto’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ arahato sammāsambuddhassāti.
Yaṁ samaṇena pattabbaṁ, brāhmaṇena vusīmatā; Yaṁ vedagunā pattabbaṁ, bhisakkena anuttaraṁ.
Yaṁ nimmalena pattabbaṁ, vimalena sucīmatā; Yaṁ ñāṇinā ca pattabbaṁ, vimuttena anuttaraṁ.
Sohaṁ vijitasaṅgāmo, mutto mocemi bandhanā; Nāgomhi paramadanto, asekho parinibbuto”ti.
