Lampe
„Was ist die Lampe für die Welt? Was ist in der Welt wach? Wen hat man zu Arbeitskollegen? Was ist für einen die Lebensrichtung?
Was ernährt die Faulen wie die Unermüdlichen, wie eine Mutter ihr Kind ernährt? Die Geschöpfe, die auf der Erde leben – wodurch erhalten sie ihr Leben?“
„Weisheit ist die Lampe für die Welt. Achtsamkeit ist in der Welt wach. Das Vieh hat man zu Arbeitskollegen, und die Furche ist für einen die Lebensrichtung.
Regen ernährt die Faulen wie die Unermüdlichen, wie eine Mutter ihr Kind ernährt. Die Geschöpfe, die von der Erde leben – durch Regen erhalten sie ihr Leben.“

Kiṁsu alasaṁ analasañca, Mātā puttaṁva posati; Kiṁ bhūtā upajīvanti, Ye pāṇā pathavissitā”ti.
