Untauglich

„Ich will euch das Taugliche und das Untaugliche lehren. Hört zu … Und was ist das Untaugliche? Falsche Ansicht, falsches Denken, falsche Rede, falsches Handeln, falscher Lebenserwerb, falscher Einsatz, falsche Achtsamkeit, falsche Versenkung, falsches Erkennen und falsche Freiheit – das nennt man das Untaugliche. Und was ist das Taugliche? Rechte Ansicht, rechtes Denken, rechte Rede, rechtes Handeln, rechter Lebenserwerb, rechter Einsatz, rechte Achtsamkeit, rechte Versenkung, rechtes Erkennen und rechte Freiheit – das nennt man das Taugliche.“

Unskillful

“I will teach you the skillful and the unskillful … And what is the unskillful? Wrong view, wrong purpose, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, wrong immersion, wrong knowledge, and wrong freedom. This is called the unskillful. And what is the skillful? Right view, right purpose, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right immersion, right knowledge, and right freedom. This is called the skillful.”

“Akusalañca vo, bhikkhave, desessāmi kusalañca. Taṁ suṇātha …pe… katamañca, bhikkhave, akusalaṁ? Micchādiṭṭhi …pe… micchāvimutti— idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, akusalaṁ. Katamañca, bhikkhave, kusalaṁ? Sammādiṭṭhi …pe… sammāvimutti— idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, kusalan”ti.
