„Mönche und Nonnen, ob Klargewordene erscheinen oder nicht, dieses Naturgesetz besteht, diese Beständigkeit natürlicher Gesetzmäßigkeiten, diese Gewähr natürlicher Gesetzmäßigkeiten: Alle Bedingungen sind unbeständig. Ein Klargewordener erwacht zu diesem und erfasst es, dann erklärt er es, lehrt es, stellt es fest, etabliert es, stellt es klar, gliedert es auf und enthüllt es: ‚Alle Bedingungen sind unbeständig.‘

“Mendicants, whether Realized Ones arise or not, this law of nature persists, this regularity of natural principles, this surety of natural principles: all conditions are impermanent. A Realized One awakens to this and comprehends it, then he explains, teaches, asserts, establishes, clarifies, analyzes, and reveals it: ‘All conditions are impermanent.’

“Uppādā vā, bhikkhave, tathāgatānaṁ anuppādā vā tathāgatānaṁ, ṭhitāva sā dhātu dhammaṭṭhitatā dhammaniyāmatā. Sabbe saṅkhārā aniccā. Taṁ tathāgato abhisambujjhati abhisameti. Abhisambujjhitvā abhisametvā ācikkhati deseti paññāpeti paṭṭhapeti vivarati vibhajati uttānīkaroti: ‘sabbe saṅkhārā aniccā’ti.
