Die auf dem Leichenfeld leben
„Mönche und Nonnen, es gibt diese Fünf, die auf einem Leichenfeld leben. Welche fünf? Jemand lebt auf einem Leichenfeld aus Einfalt und Dummheit … aus unlauteren Wünschen heraus … weil er verwirrt oder geisteskrank ist … weil es von den Buddhas gepriesen wird … um der Genügsamkeit willen … Das sind die Fünf, die auf einem Leichenfeld leben.“

“Mendicants, these five dwell in a charnel ground. What five? One may dwell in a charnel ground because of stupidity … corrupt wishes … madness … because it is praised by the Buddhas … or for the sake of having few wishes … These are the five who dwell in a charnel ground.”

“Pañcime, bhikkhave, sosānikā. Katame pañca? Mandattā momūhattā sosāniko hoti …pe… idamatthitaṁyeva nissāya sosāniko hoti. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca sosānikā”ti.
