Giving Up Stinginess

“Mendicants, the spiritual life is lived to give up and cut out these five kinds of stinginess. What five? Stinginess with dwellings, families, material things, praise, and the teachings. The spiritual life is lived to give up and cut out these five kinds of stinginess.”
