Über Tapussa
„Mönche und Nonnen, da der Hausbesitzer Tapussa sechs Eigenschaften besitzt, ist er sich über den Klargewordenen sicher, sieht das, das frei vom Tod ist, und lebt, indem er das, das frei vom Tod ist, verwirklicht hat. Welche sechs? Auf Erfahrung gegründete Zuversicht zum Buddha, zur Lehre und zum Saṅgha und edle Tugend, edles Erkennen und edle Freiheit. Da der Hausbesitzer Tapussa diese sechs Eigenschaften besitzt, ist er sich über den Klargewordenen sicher, sieht das, das frei vom Tod ist, und lebt, indem er das, das frei vom Tod ist, verwirklicht hat.“

“Mendicants, having six qualities the householder Tapussa is certain about the Realized One, sees freedom from death and lives having realized freedom from death. What six? Experiential confidence in the Buddha, the teaching, and the Saṅgha, and noble ethics, knowledge, and freedom. Having these six qualities the householder Tapussa is certain about the Realized One, sees freedom from death and lives having realized freedom from death.”

“Chahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato tapusso gahapati tathāgate niṭṭhaṅgato amataddaso amataṁ sacchikatvā iriyati. Katamehi chahi? Buddhe aveccappasādena, dhamme aveccappasādena, saṅghe aveccappasādena, ariyena sīlena, ariyena ñāṇena, ariyāya vimuttiyā. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, chahi dhammehi samannāgato tapusso gahapati tathāgate niṭṭhaṅgato amataddaso amataṁ sacchikatvā iriyatī”ti.
