„Vertrauen, ein Gewissen, taugliches Geben,
das sind Eigenschaften, die wahre Menschen verfolgen.
Denn das, so sagen sie, sei der Weg zu den Göttern,
der in himmlische Welten führt.“
Giving (2nd)
“Faith, conscience, and skillful giving
are qualities true persons follow.
For this, they say, is the path of the gods,
which leads to the heavenly realm.”

“Saddhā hiriyaṁ kusalañca dānaṁ,
Dhammā ete sappurisānuyātā;
Etañhi maggaṁ diviyaṁ vadanti,
