“Dumagge paṁsukūlikaṁ,
laggaṁ disvāna satthuno;
Añjaliṁ paggahetvāna,
paṁsukūlaṁ avandahaṁ.

Ekattiṁse ito kappe,
yaṁ saññamalabhiṁ tadā;
Duggatiṁ nābhijānāmi,
buddhapūjāyidaṁ phalaṁ.

Pañcavīse ito kappe,
eko āsiṁ janādhipo;
Amitābhoti nāmena,
cakkavattī mahabbalo.

Paṭisambhidā catasso,

kataṁ buddhassa sāsanaṁ”.

Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā ekasaññako thero imā gāthāyo abhāsitthāti.
