“Asito nāma nāmena,
mālākāro ahaṁ tadā;
Āveḷaṁ paggahetvāna,
rañño dātuṁ vajāmahaṁ.

Asampattomhi rājānaṁ,
addasaṁ sikhināyakaṁ;
Haṭṭho haṭṭhena cittena,
buddhassa abhiropayiṁ.

Ekattiṁse ito kappe,
yaṁ pupphamabhipūjayiṁ;
Duggatiṁ nābhijānāmi,
buddhapūjāyidaṁ phalaṁ.

Pañcavīse ito kappe,
rājāhosiṁ mahabbalo;
Vebhāro nāma nāmena,
cakkavattī mahabbalo.

Paṭisambhidā catasso,
…pe…
kataṁ buddhassa sāsanaṁ”.

Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā sukatāveḷiyo thero imā gāthāyo abhāsitthāti.

Sukatāveḷiyattherassāpadānaṁ navamaṁ.
