“Tissassa kho bhagavato,
bodhiyā pādaputtame;
Aḍḍhacandaṁ mayā dinnaṁ,
dharaṇīruhapādape.

Dvenavute ito kappe,
yaṁ candamabhiropayiṁ;
Duggatiṁ nābhijānāmi,
bodhipūjāyidaṁ phalaṁ.

Pañcavīse ito kappe,
devalo nāma khattiyo;
Sattaratanasampanno,
cakkavattī mahabbalo.

Paṭisambhidā catasso,
…pe…
kataṁ buddhassa sāsanaṁ”.

Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā aḍḍhacandiyo thero imā gāthāyo abhāsitthāti.
