“Devabhūto ahaṁ santo,
oruyha pathaviṁ tadā;
Padīpe pañca pādāsiṁ,
pasanno sehi pāṇibhi.

Catunnavutito kappe,
yaṁ padīpamadaṁ tadā;
Duggatiṁ nābhijānāmi,
dīpadānassidaṁ phalaṁ.

Pañcapaññāsake kappe,
eko āsiṁ mahīpati;
Samantacakkhunāmena,
cakkavattī mahabbalo.

Paṭisambhidā catasso,
…pe…
kataṁ buddhassa sāsanaṁ”.

Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā padīpadāyako thero imā gāthāyo abhāsitthāti.
