Das Alter kommt über einen wie ein Fluch;
es ist der gleiche Körper, doch es scheint der eines anderen zu sein.
Ich erinnere mich, als wäre ich jemand anders,
aber ich bin noch der Gleiche, ich bin nicht weg gewesen.

Kimbila (1st)
Old age falls like a curse;
it’s the same body, but it seems like someone else’s.
I remember myself as if I were someone else,
but I’m still the same, I haven’t been away.
