Isidatta

Die fünf Aggregate sind vollständig verstanden;
sie bestehen noch, doch ihre Wurzel ist abgeschnitten.
Ich bin am Ende des Leidens angekommen
und habe die Auflösung der Befleckungen erreicht.

Chapter Twelve

Isidatta

The five aggregates are fully understood,
they remain, but their root is cut.
I have reached the end of suffering
and attained the ending of defilements.

Dvādasamavagga

Isidattattheragāthā

“Pañcakkhandhā pariññātā,
tiṭṭhanti chinnamūlakā;
Dukkhakkhayo anuppatto,
patto me āsavakkhayo”ti.

Tassuddānaṁ

Jento ca vacchagotto ca,
vaccho ca vanasavhayo;
Adhimutto mahānāmo,
pārāpariyo yasopi ca;
Kimilo vajjiputto ca,
isidatto mahāyasoti.

Ekakanipāto niṭṭhito.

Tatruddānaṁ

Vīsuttarasataṁ therā,
katakiccā anāsavā;
Ekakeva nipātamhi,
susaṅgītā mahesibhīti.
