Añjanavaniya

Ich tauchte tief ein in den Añjana-Wald
und machte ein Hüttchen, um darin zu leben.
Das dreifache Wissen habe ich verwirklicht
und die Anleitung des Buddha erfüllt.

Chapter Six

Añjanavaniya

I plunged into the Añjana wood
and made a hut to live in.
I’ve attained the three knowledges
and fulfilled the Buddha’s instructions.

“Āsandiṁ kuṭikaṁ katvā,
ogayha añjanaṁ vanaṁ;
Tisso vijjā anuppattā,
kataṁ buddhassa sāsanan”ti.
