Visākhā

Befolgt das Geheiß des Buddha,
ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.
Wascht rasch eure Füße
und setzt euch abseits zum Meditieren hin.

Do the Buddha’s bidding,
you won’t regret it.
Having quickly washed your feet,
sit in a discreet place to meditate.

Visākhātherīgāthā

“Karotha buddhasāsanaṁ,
yaṁ katvā nānutappati;
Khippaṁ pādāni dhovitvā,
ekamante nisīdathā”ti.
