Very Confused
Susammuṭṭhasutta

Sehr verwirrt
In Sāvatthī.
Als sie sich zur Seite hingestellt hatte, sagte diese Gottheit in Gegenwart des Buddha diese Strophe auf:
„Die, die über die Lehren sehr verwirrt sind,
werden leicht fehlgeleitet von den Doktrinen anderer.
Sie schlafen, sind nicht aufgewacht:
Es ist Zeit, dass sie wach werden!“
„Die, die über die Lehren nicht verwirrt sind,
werden nicht fehlgeleitet von den Doktrinen anderer.
Sie sind aufgewacht, erkennen richtig;
ebenmäßig wandern sie im Unebenen.“
Very Confused
At Sāvatthī.
Standing to one side, that deity spoke this verse in the Buddha’s presence:
“Those who are very confused about the teachings
may be led astray by the doctrines of others.
Asleep, they have not woken up:
it is time for them to wake!”
“Those who are unconfused about the teachings,
won’t be led astray by the doctrines of others.
They have woken up, they rightly know,
smoothly they walk in the rough.”
Susammuṭṭhasutta
Sāvatthinidānaṁ.
Ekamantaṁ ṭhitā kho sā devatā bhagavato santike imaṁ gāthaṁ abhāsi:
“Yesaṁ dhammā susammuṭṭhā,
paravādesu nīyare;
Suttā te nappabujjhanti,
kālo tesaṁ pabujjhitun”ti.
“Yesaṁ dhammā asammuṭṭhā,
paravādesu na nīyare;
Te sambuddhā sammadaññā,
caranti visame saman”ti.
