„Mönche und Nonnen, Lebewesen kommen zusammen und vereinigen sich aufgrund eines Elements: die ohne Vertrauen mit denen ohne Vertrauen, die Gewissenlosen … die Unbesonnenen … die Tugendlosen … die Geistlosen …

die Vertrauensvollen … die mit einem Gewissen … die Besonnenen … die Tugendhaften … und die Weisen mit den Weisen.“

“Mendicants, sentient beings join together and converge because of an element: the faithless with the faithless … shameless … imprudent … unethical … witless …

The faithful with the faithful … conscientious … prudent … ethical … and the wise with the wise.”

Dussīlasutta

Sāvatthiyaṁ viharati.

“Dhātusova, bhikkhave, sattā saṁsandanti samenti. Assaddhā assaddhehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; ahirikā ahirikehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; anottappino anottappīhi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; dussīlā dussīlehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; duppaññā duppaññehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti.

Saddhā saddhehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; hirimanā hirimanehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; ottappino ottappīhi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; sīlavanto sīlavantehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; paññavanto paññavantehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samentī”ti.
