Wer sollte von einem vergifteten Pfeil durchbohrt werden? Jemand, der zu Besitz, Ehre und Beliebtheit gelangt, solange er noch in Schulung ist und seinen Herzenswunsch nicht erfüllt hat.
‚Pfeil‘ ist ein Ausdruck für Besitz, Ehre und Beliebtheit.
So brutal sind Besitz, Ehre und Beliebtheit … ‚Wir wollen Besitz, Ehre und Beliebtheit aufgeben …‘ So sollt ihr euch schulen.“

“Dāruṇo, bhikkhave, lābhasakkārasiloko …pe… adhigamāya.
Kaṁ, bhikkhave, diddhagatena visallena sallena vijjhatu, sekhaṁ appattamānasaṁ lābhasakkārasiloko anupāpuṇātu.
Sallanti kho, bhikkhave, lābhasakkārasilokassetaṁ adhivacanaṁ.
Evaṁ dāruṇo kho, bhikkhave, lābhasakkārasiloko …pe… evañhi vo, bhikkhave, sikkhitabban”ti.
