„Mönche und Nonnen, gebt Sehnen und Begehren nach allem auf, was ohne Selbst ist. Und was ist ohne Selbst? Form ist ohne Selbst – gebt Sehnen und Begehren nach ihr auf. Gefühl ist ohne Selbst … Wahrnehmung ist ohne Selbst … Willensbildungsprozesse sind ohne Selbst … Bewusstsein ist ohne Selbst – gebt Sehnen und Begehren nach ihm auf. Gebt Sehnen und Begehren nach allem auf, was ohne Selbst ist.“
