Liable to Impermanence

Seiner Natur nach unbeständig

In Sāvatthī.

Als er sich zur Seite hingesetzt hatte, sagte der Ehrwürdige Rādha zum Buddha:

„Herr, man spricht von dieser Sache, die ‚ihrer Natur nach unbeständig‘ genannt wird. Was ist seiner Natur nach unbeständig?“

„Rādha, Form ist ihrer Natur nach unbeständig, Gefühl ist seiner Natur nach unbeständig, Wahrnehmung ist ihrer Natur nach unbeständig, Willensbildungsprozesse sind ihrer Natur nach unbeständig, Bewusstsein ist seiner Natur nach unbeständig.

Wenn er das sieht … Er versteht: ‚… es gibt nichts weiter für diesen Ort.‘“

Liable to Impermanence

At Sāvatthī.

Seated to one side, Venerable Rādha said to the Buddha:

“Sir, they speak of having ‘impermanent nature’. What is of impermanent nature?

“Rādha, form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness are of impermanent nature.

Seeing this … They understand: ‘… there is nothing further for this place.’”

Aniccadhammasutta

Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

Ekamantaṁ nisinno kho āyasmā rādho bhagavantaṁ etadavoca:

“‘aniccadhammo, aniccadhammo’ti, bhante, vuccati. Katamo nu kho, bhante, aniccadhammo”ti?

“Rūpaṁ kho, rādha, aniccadhammo, vedanā aniccadhammo, saññā aniccadhammo, saṅkhārā aniccadhammo, viññāṇaṁ aniccadhammo.

Evaṁ passaṁ …pe… nāparaṁ itthattāyāti pajānātī”ti.
