Wahrnehmung nicht erkennen

In Sāvatthī.

Als er sich zur Seite hingesetzt hatte, sagte der Wanderer Vacchagotta zum Buddha:

„Was ist der Grund, werter Gotama, was ist die Ursache, dass diese verschiedenen Arten von Irrglauben in der Welt erscheinen …?“

„Vaccha, es ist, weil man Wahrnehmung nicht erkennt, nicht ihren Ursprung, nicht ihr Aufhören und nicht die Übung, die zu ihrem Aufhören führt …“

Not Knowing Perception

At Sāvatthī.

Then the wanderer Vacchagotta said to the Buddha:

“What is the cause, worthy Gotama, what is the reason why these various misconceptions arise in the world? …”

“Vaccha, it is because of not knowing perception, its origin, its cessation, and the practice that leads to its cessation …”

Saññāaññāṇasutta

Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

Ekamantaṁ nisinno kho vacchagotto paribbājako bhagavantaṁ etadavoca:

“ko nu kho, bho gotama, hetu, ko paccayo, yānimāni anekavihitāni diṭṭhigatāni loke uppajjanti— sassato lokoti vā, asassato lokoti vā …pe… neva hoti na na hoti tathāgato paraṁ maraṇāti vā”ti?

“Saññāya kho, vaccha, aññāṇā, saññāsamudaye aññāṇā, saññānirodhe aññāṇā, saññānirodhagāminiyā paṭipadāya aññāṇā; evamimāni anekavihitāni diṭṭhigatāni loke uppajjanti— sassato lokoti vā, asassato lokoti vā …pe… neva hoti na na hoti tathāgato paraṁ maraṇāti vāti. Ayaṁ kho, vaccha, hetu, ayaṁ paccayo, yānimāni anekavihitāni diṭṭhigatāni loke uppajjanti— sassato lokoti vā, asassato lokoti vā …pe… neva hoti na na hoti tathāgato paraṁ maraṇāti vā”ti.
