Was sind die Dinge, die die Fesseln festzurren? Und was ist die Fessel? Es gibt Bilder, die das Auge erkennt, erwünscht, willkommen, angenehm, erfreulich, sinnlich und erregend. Das nennt man Dinge, die die Fesseln festzurren. Das Sehnen und Begehren nach ihnen ist die Fessel.

Es gibt Töne, die das Ohr erkennt … Es gibt Gerüche, die die Nase erkennt … Es gibt Geschmäcke, die die Zunge erkennt … Es gibt Berührungen, die der Körper erkennt … Es gibt Vorstellungen, die der Geist erkennt, erwünscht, willkommen, angenehm, erfreulich, sinnlich und erregend.
