Ohne Selbst innen und Grund ohne Selbst

„Mönche und Nonnen, das Auge ist ohne Selbst. Der Grund und die Ursache, die das Auge entstehen lassen, auch diese sind ohne Selbst. Da das Auge von etwas geschaffen wird, das ohne Selbst ist, wie könnte es da ein Selbst sein?

Das Ohr ist ohne Selbst … Die Nase ist ohne Selbst … Die Zunge ist ohne Selbst … Der Körper ist ohne Selbst … Der Geist ist ohne Selbst. Der Grund und die Ursache, die den Geist entstehen lassen, auch diese sind ohne Selbst. Da der Geist von etwas geschaffen wird, das ohne Selbst ist, wie könnte er da ein Selbst sein?

Wenn er das sieht … Er versteht: ‚… es gibt nichts weiter für diesen Ort.‘“

“Mendicants, the eye is not-self. The cause and reason that gives rise to the eye is also not-self. Since the eye is produced by what is not-self, how could it be self?

The ear … nose … tongue … body … mind is not-self. The cause and reason that gives rise to the mind is also not-self. Since the mind is produced by what is not-self, how could it be self?

Seeing this … They understand: ‘… there is nothing further for this place.’”

“Cakkhuṁ, bhikkhave, anattā. Yopi hetu, yopi paccayo cakkhussa uppādāya, sopi anattā. Anattasambhūtaṁ, bhikkhave, cakkhu kuto attā bhavissati …pe…

jivhā anattā. Yopi hetu yopi paccayo jivhāya uppādāya, sopi anattā. Anattasambhūtā, bhikkhave, jivhā kuto attā bhavissati …pe… mano anattā. Yopi hetu yopi paccayo manassa uppādāya, sopi anattā. Anattasambhūto, bhikkhave, mano kuto attā bhavissati.

Evaṁ passaṁ …pe… nāparaṁ itthattāyā’ti pajānātī”ti.
