2. Das zweite Kapitel
Eintracht im Saṅgha
Das wurde vom Buddha, dem Vollendeten, gesagt; das habe ich gehört:
„Ein Ding, Mönche und Nonnen, erscheint in der Welt zum Nutzen und Glück vieler Menschen, für das Volk, zum Segen, Nutzen und Glück von Göttern und Menschen. Welches eine Ding? Eintracht im Saṅgha. Wenn der Saṅgha einträchtig ist, streiten sie nicht, beleidigen und blockieren einander nicht und geben einander nicht auf. Das weckt Zuversicht bei denen mit mangelnder Zuversicht und stärkt die Zuversicht bei den Zuversichtlichen.“
Der Buddha sprach diese Sache. Dazu wird gesagt:
„Ein Saṅgha in Eintracht ist glücklich, und Rückhalt ist für die Einträchtigen Glück. Wenn er in der Lehre steht und Eintracht bevorzugt, richtet er kein Refugium zugrunde. Wenn er im Saṅgha Eintracht geschaffen hat, erfreut er sich ein Äon lang im Himmel.“
Auch das ist eine Sache, die vom Gesegneten gesprochen wurde: Das habe ich gehört.
Chapter Two
Harmony in the Saṅgha
This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard.
“One thing, mendicants, arises in the world for the welfare and happiness of the people, for the people, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of gods and humans. What one thing? Harmony in the Saṅgha. When the Saṅgha is in harmony, they don’t argue, insult, block, or forsake each other. This inspires confidence in those without it, and increases confidence in those who have it.”
The Buddha spoke this matter. On this it is said:
“A Saṅgha in harmony is happy, as is support for those in harmony. Taking a stand on the teaching, favoring harmony, they ruin no sanctuary. After creating harmony in the Saṅgha, they rejoice in heaven for an eon.”
This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard.
Dutiyavagga
Saṅghasāmaggīsutta
Vuttañhetaṁ bhagavatā vuttamarahatāti me sutaṁ:
“Ekadhammo, bhikkhave, loke uppajjamāno uppajjati bahujanahitāya bahujanasukhāya bahuno janassa atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussānaṁ. Katamo ekadhammo? Saṅghasāmaggī. Saṅghe kho pana, bhikkhave, samagge na ceva aññamaññaṁ bhaṇḍanāni honti, na ca aññamaññaṁ paribhāsā honti, na ca aññamaññaṁ parikkhepā honti, na ca aññamaññaṁ pariccajanā honti. Tattha appasannā ceva pasīdanti, pasannānañca bhiyyobhāvo hotī”ti.
Etamatthaṁ bhagavā avoca. Tatthetaṁ iti vuccati:
“Sukhā saṅghassa sāmaggī, samaggānañcanuggaho; Samaggarato dhammaṭṭho, yogakkhemā na dhaṁsati; Saṅghaṁ samaggaṁ katvāna, kappaṁ saggamhi modatī”ti.
Ayampi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutanti.
