„Eine Person, Mönche und Nonnen, erscheint in der Welt zum Nutzen und Glück vieler Menschen, aus Anteilnahme für die Welt, zum Segen, Nutzen und Glück von Göttern und Menschen. Wer ist diese eine Person? Der Klargewordene, der Vollendete, der vollkommen erwachte Buddha. Das ist die eine Person, Mönche und Nonnen, die zum Nutzen und Glück vieler Menschen, aus Anteilnahme für die Welt, zum Segen, Nutzen und Glück von Göttern und Menschen in der Welt erscheint.“

„Mit dem Erscheinen einer Person, Mönche und Nonnen, erscheint da ein großes Auge; ein großes Licht; ein großer Glanz; sechs unübertreffliche Dinge; das Verwirklichen der vier Arten der Textanalyse; das Durchdringen vieler Elemente; das Durchdringen vielfältiger Elemente; das Erlangen der Frucht von Wissen und Freiheit; das Erlangen der Frucht des Stromeintritts; der Frucht der Einmalwiederkehr; der Frucht der Nichtwiederkehr; der Frucht der Vollendung. Wer ist diese eine Person? Der Klargewordene, der Vollendete, der vollkommen erwachte Buddha. “With the appearance of one individual, mendicants, there is the appearance of a great eye, a great light, a great radiance, and the six unsurpassable things; the realization of the four kinds of textual analysis; the penetration of many and diverse elements; the realization of the fruit of knowledge and freedom; the realization of the fruits of stream-entry, once-return, non-return, and perfection. What one individual? The Realized One, the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha. This is the one individual whose appearance brings the appearance of a great eye, a great light, a great radiance, and the six unsurpassable things; the realization of the four kinds of textual analysis; the penetration of many and diverse elements; the realization of the fruit of knowledge and release; the realization of the fruits of stream-entry, once-return, non-return, and perfection.”

“Nāhaṁ, bhikkhave, aññaṁ ekapuggalampi samanupassāmi yo evaṁ tathāgatena anuttaraṁ dhammacakkaṁ pavattitaṁ sammadeva anuppavatteti yathayidaṁ, bhikkhave, sāriputto. Sāriputto, bhikkhave, tathāgatena anuttaraṁ dhammacakkaṁ pavattitaṁ sammadeva anuppavattetī”ti.
